The creators of Dhurandhar have published the long-anticipated teaser for its sequel Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge which follows the success of their first movie. The film will premiere in cinemas on March 19.
About the Teaser
The teaser provides a brief yet impactful view of the dark universe which exists in Dhurandhar 2. Ranveer Singh displays his character’s brutality through his street chaos, which he causes in Lyari. The teaser contains no spoken words, yet the powerful visuals together with the intense background music demonstrate his evolution into a more formidable opponent. Ranveer’s screen presence dominates every frame, which establishes the atmosphere for an intensely violent sequel.
Poster Reveal
A social media post showed a new Ranveer Singh poster before the teaser became available. The poster displays deep red color scheme while showing Ranveer in the rain with an aggressive facial expression. The background shows the words “THE REVENGE” which appear carved into a blood-red wall, which amplifies the powerful atmosphere.
Film Details
Dhurandhar 2 will release in five languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, which sets it apart from the first film that only showed in Hindi. Aditya Dhar wrote and directed the film, which Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Lokesh Dhar produced. The original Dhurandhar featured R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal. The film showed an Indian intelligence officer who worked undercover to destroy a terrorist network. The sequel continues the story of undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazhari within Pakistan’s underworld.

The film Dhurandhar achieved a historic box office milestone by earning over Rs 1000 crore, which made it the first single-language Indian film to reach this achievement.
