AI Impact Summit 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed pride as the AI Impact Summit 2026 commenced in New Delhi, marking one of the largest global gatherings focused on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The multi-day event is being held at Bharat Mandapam and will continue until February 20, drawing participation from international delegates, technology leaders, startups, and research institutions.

According to official advisories, the summit opened with an inauguration ceremony led by the Prime Minister, while the accompanying AI expo will be accessible to the general public from February 17. The event aims to highlight India’s growing role in the global AI ecosystem and foster innovation-driven partnerships across borders.

The expo features more than 300 pavilions and live technology demonstrations structured around three central themes — people, planet, and progress. Representatives from over a dozen countries, including Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Russia, are showcasing collaborative projects and advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and digital governance.

Spread across 10 dedicated arenas covering over 7,000 square meters, the summit is expected to witness large crowds and significant business networking opportunities. Organisers state that the platform is designed to connect government bodies, private enterprises, academic institutions, and global investors under one roof.

Experts believe the summit will strengthen India’s position as a key innovation hub while encouraging responsible AI development and cross-sector technological cooperation.
