India-origin video-sharing platform expands its ecosystem with World TV, in-house advertising infrastructure, wallet integration, and multi-format creator tools
As India’s creator economy continues to expand at a rapid pace, homegrown digital platforms are increasingly stepping into a space long dominated by global video-sharing giants. Among the emerging names is World Premium, an India-origin video-sharing platform that is steadily building a creator-focused ecosystem while positioning itself as a growing competitor to YouTube.
The platform is already live and actively onboarding creators across different content categories and regions. Under the leadership of CEO Grishhya Suresh, World Premium is focusing on creating a more structured environment where creators are not limited to just uploading videos and depending entirely on unpredictable algorithms for visibility.
Unlike many traditional video platforms, World Premium combines multiple content formats within a single ecosystem. The platform supports long-form videos, short-form vertical content called “Flows,” creator channels, and series-based publishing, allowing creators to diversify the way they engage with audiences.
Industry observers believe the next phase of the creator economy will depend heavily on platforms that offer stronger monetization systems, audience engagement tools, and long-term creator support rather than relying only on viral reach. In line with this shift, World Premium is developing a structured discovery ecosystem designed to improve creator visibility and content discoverability.
One of the platform’s standout features is “World TV,” a television-inspired live and continuous streaming environment that aims to deliver a more immersive viewing experience. Instead of functioning purely as an on-demand video platform, World Premium is attempting to blend traditional viewing concepts with modern digital content consumption.
The company is also operating its own in-house advertising infrastructure along with a wallet-based monetization system. This setup is intended to create more direct collaboration opportunities between brands and creators while offering scalable revenue models inside the platform ecosystem.
Another area where World Premium is differentiating itself is regional accessibility. As demand for vernacular and regional content continues to grow across India, the platform is expanding its multi-language support and onboarding creators from Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 markets.
The project has been developed under Singhaniya Royal Group (SRG), founded by entrepreneur Rudrana Singh, while the platform’s operational execution and strategic direction are being led by Suresh.
According to Suresh, the company’s broader vision is to create a scalable digital ecosystem where creators can access monetization opportunities, audience growth tools, and structured platform support within one integrated environment.
As competition in the digital creator industry intensifies, platforms offering integrated monetization, curated discovery systems, and creator-focused infrastructure are expected to play a larger role in shaping the future of online content. In that evolving landscape, World Premium is emerging as one of the India-origin platforms seeking to challenge YouTube’s dominance with a more structured and creator-driven approach.
