Protush completed his schooling up to Class 10 from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh, one of the region’s well-known educational institutions. Demonstrating a keen interest in academics and technology, he further strengthened his educational journey by pursuing coaching programs at Allen Career Institute, Dibrugarh, and Gyan Vigyan Academy.
His hard work and determination eventually earned him admission to the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), one of Northeast India’s premier technical institutions and a deemed university. Currently pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Protush aims to build a career driven by innovation, technological advancement and continuous learning.
Making His Mark in Martial Arts
Beyond academics, Protush has shown exceptional dedication to martial arts. He actively participated in several district-level Jeet Kune Do championships across Assam, where his discipline and competitive spirit helped him gain recognition.
His consistent performances enabled him to compete at the National Level in Kolkata and later represent himself at the International Level in Nepal. These opportunities provided him with valuable exposure and strengthened his passion for martial arts.
Protush also trained in Judo for three years and won multiple medals in district-level competitions. His achievements in martial arts highlight his perseverance, focus and commitment to excellence.
Passion for Sports and Endurance Challenges
A strong advocate of fitness and an active lifestyle, Protush has participated in numerous marathon events, including long-distance runs of up to 40 kilometres. His participation in endurance events reflects both physical resilience and mental strength.
Throughout his sporting journey, he has explored various disciplines, including football, taekwondo, badminton, table tennis, cricket, kung fu and swimming. His willingness to embrace different sports demonstrates adaptability, teamwork and an eagerness to continuously challenge himself.

Protush’s dedication to sports also earned recognition from the Sports Authority of India (SAI). As part of sports development and participation initiatives, he received sports apparel, including training jackets, jerseys and athletic wear. Wearing Jersey Number 9, he proudly represented his team while displaying discipline, sportsmanship and commitment.

Apart from excelling in academics and sports, Protush has also nurtured his artistic side. He pursued Fine Arts studies up to the 3rd Year Degree Level, showcasing his creativity, patience and passion for learning beyond conventional boundaries.
